This past weekend, one of my best girlfriends, Brandi (check out her wedding here), drove in from Montgomery to spend a couple of days with me. So, we ate a lot and played Dance Central and went old school with some Dance Dance Revolution. Then, Saturday night, she got to be my +1 to a truly fabulous event. Hester and Gail of Wedding Soiree put on a totally spectacular party to celebrate the release of their book on wedding planning in Atlanta (appropriately named Atlanta Weddings for the Modern, Stylish, Chic Bride). I brought my camera along for funsies and snuck a few photos here and there. I was totally amazed at the venue, styling, and abundance of sweet wedding vendors here in Atlanta.
Dessert bar. Need I say anymore?
Outside on the roof of The Ventanas, Brandi and I sat with our drink and chilled. About 20 seconds into chilling I determined that the firelight was just too pretty too pass up, so I had to whip out my camera (back and forth). No, not my hair. My camera.
I adore the view from the rooftop. I repeat, ADORE.
If you’ve seen my wedding dress, you will understand why I love:
Have I mentioned the view?!
This lady was tearing up the dance floor pretty much all night. That’s what I’m talkin about.
Drinks and dessert. Then more dessert.
The night ended with some beautiful jazzy R&B by Algebra.
This was my first time really experiencing the Atlanta wedding industry, and let me tell you, if this is a taste of things to come, I am SO totally psyched!0
So glad you had a good time! The pixs are gorgeous!
Soooooo pretty! That looks like it was an absolute blast. I hope you were cuttin’ it up on the dance floor too, young lady!
I love these pictures!!! You did a great job on the dance floor as well as taking pics. So glad I meet you 😉
Ahhh, haha! Thank you, girl–I love to dance (as if you couldn’t tell)! I am SOOO glad I met you, too! Can’t wait til the end of this month!
