So, I love shoes. One day, I will post a photo of my shoe collection. Yes, I love Toms and I shoot in Toms. In fact, every 2011 wedding so far has found me in a pair of Toms.

Heels, though, are magical. They make me feel dressed up, taller, thinner, and oh-so-feminine–heels are a girl’s best friend 🙂 As a photographer, I A-DORE unique wedding shoe choices, probably more so than the next girl. I mean, AAAAADOOOORE. I am all about details, and expressing your personality in a sweet pair of gorgeous girly shoes on your feet is just what I love!

That is why I am starting Shoes Day Tuesdays here on the blog (uber-thanks goes to Shimmer + Silk for the ultra-fab idea). I will find a pair of shoes every week that make me simply giddy for under $50 and you, well, buy them if you like. Take it as inspiration for your own wedding. Or party dress. Or whatever. Ideally, though, I want to present brides-to-be with options for a nontraditional pair of wedding shoes. And then let me photograph you wearing them. Oh yes.

[See? Talking about heels makes me use girly words like uber-thanks and ultra-fab!]

Anyway, for my very first feature I have chosen a pair of satin heels in my very fave color (it just seems right)!

These are from Lulu*s and are only $30…oh, heck yeah!

If you feel like you need a bit of extra glitz and glamour, consider purchasing two brooches off of ebay or Etsy to attach at the toe. Instant awesomeness AND no one else will have the same pair of shoes as you!

Ahhh…where’s my credit card….
