Last night, Brock, Malachi, and I started a Christmas Eve tradition0
Last night, Brock, Malachi, and I started a Christmas Eve tradition. After candlelight service at our church, we came home, set up the Joy Box, and took fun, crazy, Christmas photos together!
Disclaimer: I did not iron the backdrop. I was too busy cooking mac n’ cheese and praline bacon (favorite food ever) and watching The Muppet Christmas Carol (which, made me cry. A Christmas Carol always makes me cry.) Next year, I may or may not iron the backdrop. We’ll see 🙂
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas, and a happy and BLESSED new year! 🙂
We like stuffed animals.
If school doesn’t work out for him, at least he has a career in comedy.
He looks like one of the Gorillaz cartoon characters, albeit much less creepy.
This is his cool guy face.
Malachi insisted on including the bugle.
Daddy insisted on the trumpet and baritone. Like father, like son. I’m just along for the ride.
I blew them away with my stellar performance.
This is our natural reaction to Mal playing the baritone. Seriously, it is.
Oh, River. Can you see the expression of fear? She was nervously skittish (yes, I am using nervous as an adjective for skittish) for an hour after this traumatic experience.
Brock has a very volatile relationship with his frog. He is always seeking approval, but Frog won’t give him so much as a high five.
Then, he and Frog are best buddies.
Next thing you know, Frog is attacking him, all with a smile on his face.
Then they make up and are best buddies again, only to repeat the treacherous cycle again.
Oh, and then Brock turns Frog into a football.
“OFF WITH HIS HEAD!”
(Like my pink and red gliter nutcracker? You know you do :D)
